Here is how you make Lombardo Coffee Cake:

turn oven on to 350. Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs separately, beat together, add Vanilla , and fold sour cream in, then add Baking soda, baking powder and Flour, mix well. Combine sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.Pour or spread half the batter in the bottom of a greased and floured tube pan, then sprinkle cinnamon /sugar mixture, and half the almonds. then add the rest of the batter. Then top with the rest of the cinnamon/ sugar mixture and almonds. Bake for 50 min - an hour at 350.
