** DO NOT PREHEAT THE OVEN!**Cream sugar and butter till fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beating after each egg. Pour in canola oil. Mix. Add half the flour with the salt. Beat. Add milk then remaining flour. Continue beating, add the vanilla and almond extract. Beat till smooth and fluffy. Pour into a large tube pan. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Bake at 325 for an additional 25 - 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
