Here is how you make Yellow Cake from Scratch:

Whisk 1st six ingredients together well. Blend with pastry blender 1/2 cup Better Butter, recipe in my cookbook. Mix well together milk, egg and extracts. Add wet to dry and whisk for about one minute. Put into small oblong pan or 8" or 9" cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until toothpick come out clean.
