Icing Powdered Sugar, 1 cup, unsifted *Lemon Juice, 2 TBsp How Do I Make Remake of Nathan's Lemon Cake?Here is how you make Remake of Nathan's Lemon Cake: I neglected to follow the directions from the original recipe and I guess we'll never know if that would have made a difference. It was yummy and we ate it. In a 2 cup measure, combine milk and 2 TB lemon juice, set aside.In a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Mix. Add the eggs, yogurt, applesauce and 4 TB lemon juice and zest or flavoring. Mix and then add milk. (unless you have fat free buttermilk, you can use that instead of the milk with lemon- I can never find it). Pour into a pre-sprayed and floured bundt pan, bake for 35 minutes, or until tester comes out clean. Set to cool for about 10 minutes, mixing up a portion of the icing and poking the bottom of the cake with a fork. pour this portion over the bottom and let sit for another 5 minutes. Upend onto a plate and drizzle the remaining frosting on top.
