In a mixing bowl, beat eggs on medium speed for 3 minutes. Gradually add the sucanat, beating until thick. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; beat into the egg mixture. Heat milk and butter just until butter begins to melt. Beat into batter with vanilla on low speed. Pour into a greased 9"x13" baking pan. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Cut into 18 pieces. To serve, split piece of cake in half.
