Here is how you make Rustic cherry tart:

Sprinkle 9 tsp sugar and starch over cherries and set aside. Pulse flour, salt, 2 tsp sugar and butter in food processor until crumbly. Pour onto work surface and gently add water, incorporating until dough just comes together. Divide into 6 equal pieces, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour or more. Roll out dough to 6in circle and spoon 2/3 cup cherry mixtture into center. Fold up edges and brush with egg. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden.
