2 tbsp dark rum
1 tbsp vanilla extract
6 large eggs, separated
1 cup sugar, divided

Here is how you make Chocolate Bean Torte:

1) position rack in center of oven preheat at 350 degrees. Spray 10 x 2.5 inch springform with non-stick spray2)Place chocolate in microwave for 2 minutes to melt. Stir and set aside to cool.3)In a food processor, grind walnuts with 1/4 cup sugar. Transfer to a bowl.4)puree beans in food processor with rum and vanilla. Add egg yolks and process till smooth. Add cooled chocolate and process again until smooth.5)With an electric mixer on low speed whip eggs till frothy. Increase speed to med-high and beat until soft peaks. With machine running add remaining 3/4 cup sugar about 2 tbsp at a time. Beat until stiff and glossy.6)Fold in bean mixture. At about half way mixed add walnuts.7)pour into prepared pan, set on a baking sheet to catch drippings, bake for 50-60 minutes. Top will be firm, tester comes out clean and dry, and cake pulls away from sides.8)Cool on wire rack to room temperature. Run a knife or metal spatula around the cake to loosen sides.
