Here is how you make Lighter Chocolate Bread Pudding:

Note: the less fat, the less tasty and the less firm the finished product will be. Using less than 2% results in a runny finished desert. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Bring milk to a simmer. Take pot off heat. Add sugar and whisk until dissolved. Add chocolate chips and whisk until melted and blended well. Let cool while:Whisk egg until well blended. Add vanilla and whisk. While whisking continuously, add chocolate mix in a fine stream. Add bread and mix.Pour into a 9" x 9" x 2" pan. Sprinkle the remaining 2 T sugar on the top. This will make a crunchy top.
