In a 2 quart saucepan, mix butter, oil, water, and cocoa. Use a wire whip to stir and blend over low heat until mixture boils. Remove from heat and pour mixture over sugar and flour combination. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour in 10" x 15" greased and floured jelly roll pan (usually about 1-2 inches deep). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool.For icing, mix butter, cocoa, milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Blend till smooth. Add chopped pecans (optional). Frosting will set to a smooth finish. Cut cake into 1" squares.
