POUND CAKE:Partially melt 1 chocolate bar over hot water. Remove and stir rapidly until melted. Cool. In a separate bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Mix well. Blend in chocolate. Pour into a well buttered bundt-cake pan.Bake in 300 degree oven for 90 minutes. Remove cake from pan while still hot and place under tightly fitting cover until thoroughly cooled. Drizzle Glaze over cooled cake.GLAZE:Melt chocolate and butter in water over low heat. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and salt. Blend in chocolate mixture and vanilla.
