1-1/2 cups Unbleached White Flour
3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
9 oz. Chocolate Chips (or vegan alternative)


How Do I Make Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies?

Here is how you make Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies:

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.Combine the Smart Balance, sugars, and vanilla extract until creamy.Add in the prepared egg replacer and mix well, but do not beat too vigorously or your cookies will be hard.In a separate bowl, combine the flours, baking soda and salt. Slowly add this mixture to the butter mixture, beating only long enough to incorporate all the flour. Do not over-mix.Add in the chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed through the dough. To make them pretty, you may want to put the dough in the freezer for a little while to firm it up. Do this and then roll the dough into ping-pong ball sized balls and place them on a baking sheet, flattening slightly as you would if making peanut butter cookies. But if your dough is pretty stiff and/or you don't have the time, proceed as you normally would. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until they look the way you like them. Cool them on a wire rack.
