preheat oven to 350. Use paper liners in the muffin tins, the caramel is hard to remove if baked on. thouroughly blend cake mix and 7UP until smooth, fill each cup 2/3 full. bake for 13 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle the candy pieces onto the tops, place back in oven and bake an additional 5 minutes -or to your liking. (my kids like lightly golden brown, we always use the lower end of the recommended cooking times.
