Here is how you make Chocolate Custard, Sugar-Free and Lower-Carb:

Mix dry ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir in cream and half-and-half. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils, then cook one additional minute. Carefully stir small amounts of the hot mixture in with the egg yolk, then return everything to the saucepan. Bring back to a boil, and cook one minute. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla.
