2 packages of yeast

6 cup flour
4 beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Cinnamon Mixture:
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp of cinnamon
1 square of butter

Frosting:
2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla


How Do I Make Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls?

Here is how you make Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls:

Follow directions on back of yeast packages to activate the yeast.Add yeast to potato mixture when cool, cover and let set until lightly risen. Stir down with wooden spoon. Add: 6 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 large eggs.Beat thoroughly, then pour out on floured board and knead well. Greasebowl well and put dough back into it. Brush lightly with butter, let set until double in bulk. Knead in bowl, then remove to board and roll out, using as little flour as possible. For cinnamon mixture use: 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp of cinnamon, 1 square of butter.Roll dough like a jelly roll after spreading on the cinnamon mixture. Slice in 1 inch slices, place on greased baking pan, not crowding rolls. Let rise again and bake at 375? for 20 minutes. May be glazed if desired.
