Here is how you make South Blackberry Cobbler:

Mix blackberries and 1/2 c. sugar; set aside. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients into a batter; pour over melted butter. Do not mix. Put blackberries on top of batter; do not mix. Bake at 350 until lightly browned, about 40 - 50 minutes.
