Place the blanched almonds, rice flour, baking powder and the powdered sugar in a food processor; process until the almonds are chopped fine. Add the oil and pulse until it looks like wet sand. Add the eggs and process briefly, until a soft dough forms.Shape one Tablespoon of dough into a ball for each cookie, place on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Flatten with a glass then place an almond half on each cookie before adding the egg wash on top. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in an air tight container.
