Here is how you make Cocoa-Oaty Cookies (from Forks over Knives):

In a small saucepan heat the syrup, milk, and cocoa until boiling then simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the peanut butter and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat then add the rest of the ingredients. Combine well then form into cookies.*Note: the recipe in the book didn't indicate what to do after forming the cookies. To me, these appear to be "no-bakes" so I put them on parchment paper and put in the freezer.
