1. HEAT oven to 375? F. Spray cookie sheets with no-stick spray.2. COMBINE softened cream cheese and egg. Add half cake mix and in a medium bowl with an electric mixer at low speed until a coarse meal. Add spices and ? of the oatmeal. It will be thick- then add remaining cake mix, oatmeal and nuts at the same time. Add apple, or fruit cocktail. Mix by hand until a dough forms. Drop by large tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart on sprayed cookie sheets.(I used an ice cream scoop with dispensing lever 1/3 full)3. BAKE 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool for 1 minute.
