- 1 cup white oats
- 1.5 tablespoons honey
- 1 apple worth of apple sauce (about 1/4 cup)
- 0.75 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Here is how you make Low Calorie Oat Cookies:

Mix in a bowl the flour, oats, baking soda, sugar, cocoa powder, a sprinkle of nutmeg and about half a teaspoon of cinnamon.Make a hole in the dry mixture and add the apple sauce ( I made homemade apple sauce) , the honey and the vanilla extract.Mix the ingredients together. I used my hand for this one because the dough is quite stiff and hard.After you have the stiff but sticky dough, add the raisins and walnuts ( or any other substitute you decide to use) and mix well.Preheat over to 180?C.Line the tray with non stick baking sheets and add 1 tablespoon of the dough per cookie, making sure to spread the dough since it will expand while cooking.Cook for about 8 minutes till the bottom is golden brown and the top is still soft.
