Here is how you make Coconut Oatmeal Cookies:

Preheat oven to 400. Pour oatmeal and coconut onto a cookie sheet, and toast in oven for about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla, beating well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture, blending well. Stir in oats and coconut. Drop by teaspoon 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (They spread significantly.)
