* Margarine, hard, 1 stick = 1/2 a cup
* *Flour, white, 1 cup
* Eggs 3 large
* *Cool Whip Free, .5 cups
* Kraft Jello-o Brand Fat Free Sugar Free Pudding, Vanilla, 2 servings- 1 cup of pudding
* Milk, nonfat, 2 cup - for preparing pudding


How Do I Make Cream Puffs?

Here is how you make Cream Puffs:

Boil cup of water and 1/2 cup of margarine. Remove from heat and add cup of flour- stir till it comes off the sides and one at a time beat in 3 eggs. Scoop on to grease cookie sheet in teaspoon sizes. Bake until brown (If not cooked long enough they'll deflate)Let cool completely. For filling- make pudding as directed on box and let set. Mix in 2 cups of cool whip. Use a pastry bag to fill cooled cream puffs as close to your serving time (this helps prevent the pastry from getting soggy) Usually it's easy to find a crack or thin spot in the cream puff to fill it without leaving a mark. *You can make these larger to serve at kids parties instead of cupcakes or if you'd like a larger version for yourself- just use larger scoops! Try other flavor puddings for your own tastes. For Halloween I also use a few drops of orange food coloring in the batter of the pastry while mixing in the eggs.
