The ingredients for Mississippi Mud Cupcakes are:

1/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 (4 oz) semisweet chocolate baking bar, finely chopped and divided
12 paper baking cups

Marshmallow Frosting
4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
7 oz. marshmallow creme
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup roasteed glazed pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter at medium speed until fluffy; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs 1 at a time beating just until blended.

Combine flour, cocoa, and salt. Stir together sour cream and baking soda. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat at a low speed just until blended after each addition. Stir in half of the chopped choocolate.

Pleace paper baking cups in a 12 cup muffin pan, and coat with cooking spray; spoon batter into cups, filing 2/3 full.

Bake at 350 for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan on to a wire rack and cool completely.

Frost with Marshmallow Frosting and spring remaining chocoloate pieces and roasted pecan pieces.
