How Do I Make Dutch Macaroons?

Here is how you make Dutch Macaroons:

Preheat the oven to 350* and line two cookie sheets with parchment or rice paper.In a medium size bowl whip egg whites until frothy, fold in almonds then sugar. Put paste/batter into a pastry bag or ziplock with the corner cut.Pipe pinky finger sized strips (cookies will spread a little so give room). Bake for 20-25 minutes (or until golden brown). While baking microwave a glass pie dish about half full of water for 4-5 minutes (water should be near boiling) pour chocolate chips in small salad bowl and place bowl in boiling water, stir chips until fully melted. This is also a really great way to melt white chocolate chips (dont use the microwave for white chips, they burn too easily). Let cookies completely cool before removing from paper or they will stick and break.
