Here is how you make Toffee Bars (Really Easy!):

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the butter and brown sugar together until well-blended. Add in vanilla. Add flour, mix just enough to be blended (over-mixing will cause dough to become tough). Stir in chocolate chips and chopped nuts with a wooden spoon until it's evenly dispersed throughout. Press into 13"X9" ungreased pan, place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
