1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup expeller-pressed walnut oil or other mild flavored oil
1/4 tsp. salt- preferably sea or Himalayan
1 tsp. cinnamon
Group (3)
1/2 cup dried currents
1/2 cup dried wild blueberries
1/2 cup dried cranberries, orange flavored is nice

Here is how you make Aunt Sue's Favorite Fruit and Nut Granola:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Toss Group (1) ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix group (2) ingredients in saucepan and heat till hot but not boiling.Pour group (2) over group (1) and stir well.Pour bowl ingredients into large roasting pan, and bake for 15 minutes at 350 F. Stir well and bake another 10 minutes. Stir and bake another 5- 10 minutes till fragrant and golden brown. When cool, add Group (3) ingredients.
