Here is how you make Apricot Ginger Scones:

Mix flour, salt, baking powder, ginger, flaxseed, and sugar in a bowl. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or in a stand mixer until the largest pieces of coated butter are the size of a quarter. Add all the milk and almond extract and mix gently until the dough is shaggy but combined, about 30 seconds. Work in the apricot pieces being careful not to overmix. Turn over twice on a floured surface and cut into desired scone shapes/sizes. Bake at 450 degrees F for about 12 minutes.
