Butter, melted40 sheets Filo Pastry 4 cups Walnuts 1/4 cup Sugar 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1-1/2 cups Water 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice 1 tbsp. Honey How Do I Make Greek Baklava?Here is how you make Greek Baklava: Grind walnuts in food processor until very fine, and then add Sugar and Cinnamon. Brush bottom of a baking dish or sheet pan with melted butter. Place one sheet of Filo on baking sheet and brush with butter. Keep unused Filo covered with a damp towel at all times. Repeat with 7 more sheets of Filo, buttering each one. Sprinkle about 1/3 of walnut mixture spread evenly on top. Layer another 7 sheets of Filo and then walnut mixture again three times. Then layer remainder of sheets of Filo on top. Score the top of pastry about an inch deep and 2 inches apart. Then cross diagonally to make diamond shapes. Bake at 350 degree's about 45 minute or until golden Brown. Meanwhile make syrup by boiling 1 cup Sugar, Water, Lemon Juice and Honey for about 5 minutes. When Baklava is done, pour the syrup over it.
