How Do I Make Homemade Yeast Cinnamon Rolls?

Here is how you make Homemade Yeast Cinnamon Rolls:

1.) In a small pan, combine the first six ingredients and place over medium heat stirring frequently. Boil 3 minutes then remove from heat and stir in the salt and milk. Allow to cool to AT LEAST 110? F (43? C).2.) Sprinkle yeast into warm liquids and stir with non-metal utensil until completely dissolved. Transfer to a large, slightly warm bowl and set aside in warm place for 10 minutes to allow yeast to proof.3.) Again using non-metal utensil, gradually stir 3 cups of flour one cup at a time into the liquids until incorporated. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and set in a warm place to allow to rise for about an hour or until double in size.4.) After rise, dump the dough onto a floured surface and knead thoroughly (about 10 minutes) adding more flour as needed until the dough is smooth and stretchy. Cover with clean cloth and allow dough to rest about 15 minutes.5.) While dough is resting, preheat oven to 350? F (about 177? C). Cover the bottom of a large cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 6.) To make filling: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.7.) After the dough has rested, roll into a square shape using a rolling pin to about 1/2 inch thickness. Coat the entire surface with the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture. Started at the point farthest from you, roll the dough towards you to form a cylinder shape. Seal the edges completely. 8.) Carefully slice 1 inch rounds from the formed roll and place them "pretty side up" on baking sheet. Cover with towel and allow to rise 30 minutes prior to baking. After rise, place the tray in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is nicely browned and sounds hollow when thumped. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack. Cool completely before icing.9.) To make icing: Place 14 grams (1 Tbsp) softened butter in a small mixing bowl. Add 2 tablespoons milk and vanilla; mix until well blended. While mixer is running, gradually add powdered sugar. You may need to increase or decrease the sugar to reach desired consistency. Wait for rolls to cool COMPLETELY before icing.
