4 sm. boxes of sugar-free jell-o (lemon, lime, orange, strawberry)
2 c. skim milk
1 pint lowfat sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 pk unflavored gelatin (Knox)


How Do I Make Ribbon Jello?

Here is how you make Ribbon Jello:

Dissolve Knox in 1/2 c. cold water.Bring Milk to a boil & remove from heat. Add sugar, knox, vanilla & sour cream. Beat for a few minutes. Set aside but DO NOT refridgerate.Prepare 1 box of jello w/ I c. boiling water & 1/2 c. cold water per package. Pour first layer into a 9x13 pan. Refridgerate until firm - about 45 minutes.*****I usually start with lemon on the bottom, then orange, then lime, then strawberry on top. Completely arbitrary & I do it becuase it's how MYmother did it :). ******Add 1-1/4 c of sour cream mixture & refridgerate for about 45 minutes. Continue alternating a layer of jello with a layer of the sour cream mixture, fridgerating for 45 minutes each layer & ending with a layer of jello on the top.Number of Servings: 12Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user STEEDJ.
