1 cup light corn syrup
1 stick real butter
4 med. eggs, lightly beaten
1 T. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
4 T. lemon juice

Here is how you make Lemon Bars II:

Using pastry blender, blend all the ingredients for the crust together until crumbly. Pour into cake pan and press down, creating a 1/4' edge all the way around to hold the filling. Bake at 350 for 17-20 min.While crust is baking, combine sugar, corn syrup and butter in sauce pan and bring to a bubbling boil stirring constantly.Beat eggs slightly in a small bowl. Begin to stir into eggs about 1/4 of the sugar/butter mixture with a very slow, steady stream so as not to cook eggs. Then reverse and pour egg mixture into sugar/syrup mixture - still very slowly. Add the baking powder, salt and lemon juice - stirring thoroughly.Pour over wam crust and place back in 350 oven for another 25 minutes.Serving Size:?Makes 24 squares
