1 1/2 tsp blackstrap molasses
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 1/2 tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup chocolate chips for garnish

Here is how you make Maple Pecan Sticky Blondies:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients. Transfer to baking sheet, using a spatula to spread out evenly and bake for 4-5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool while preparing base.Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. In a bowl sift together flour and baking powder. Add sugar and salt, and stir until well combined. In a separate bowl, combine arrowroot with 1 tbsp milk and whisk until sooth. Add remaining milk, yogurt, tbsp maple syrup, molasses, vanilla and oil and stir until well combined. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and stir to combine.Line an 8x8 brownie pan with parchment paper. transfer batter to pan and use a spatula to spread evenly into pan. Sprinkle on pecan topping and chocolate chips, pressing lightly into batter. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the center is just set. Remove from oven, cooling completely.
