2c Granulated Sugar
1/2 c Milk, 1%
couple dashes of salt
1/2 c Peanut Butter, smooth style
3 c Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain


How Do I Make No Bake Oatmeal Chews?

Here is how you make No Bake Oatmeal Chews:

In a sauce pan (about 3 quart size) add 1st four ingredients. Mix until melted and bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil let it boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat. Stir in peanut butter until it is completely melted in. Then stir in oatmeal until combined completely. Spoon out 20 equal portions on to wax paper. Let sit at room temperature until firm. (if you can wait that long!) Store at room temperature in a sealed container. Calories based on 20 chews. Can be made smaller or larger. Just be sure to adjust and count your calories accordingly.
