Here is how you make Orange Anise Biscotti:

Heat oven to 375.Mix room temp butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until creamy. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda a little at a time. Add orange zest and anise seed. Make into log about 1 inch high, 12 inchest long and 3-1/2 inches wide on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 30 minutes. Lower oven to 325. Cut into 1/2-inches wide pieces. Place on baking sheet with cut side up. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes and remove from oven. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes. Turn over and bake another 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in airtight container.Serving Size:?One twelfth.
