preheat oven to 400 degrees. spray a large baking sheet with veg oil cooking spray.combine flour, sugar, seed, tartar, soda and salt. with a pstry blender cut butter into flour until particles are the size of small peas. In a med bowl beat one egg lightly with juice and zest. add to flour mix, stir until just mixed.On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently. Pat or roll out the dough into a circle 1/2 inch thick. cut out with a 3 in biscuit cutter, cut into rounds. in small bowl, combine second egg and 1 T of milk. brush onto top of scones. bake 15-18 min or until golden frown.yields 12-14 scones.Number of Servings: 14Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SCHETNANONE.
