2 onions, halved and sliced thinly
1 can medium black olives, roughly chopped
8 C chopped kale
3 C (240g, 8oz) small, dry pasta (ziti, elbows, bowties, radiatore, etc)
4C water
1 packet Dry Italian Dressing (Like Good Seasons)


How Do I Make Italian Sausage, Kale and Pasta?

Here is how you make Italian Sausage, Kale and Pasta:

1. Slice sausages in half lengthwise, then cut into bite sided pieces. Spray a very large skillet or stock pot with EVOO and add the sausage and thinly sliced onions. Sautee until sausage is done and onions are brown. 2. Add Kale, toss well, then toss occasionally until kale is about half wilted. Add a splash of water, if necessary, to prevent burning.3. Add olives, water, seasoning packet and dry pasta. Stir well, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring once to prevent sticking.4. When pasta is done, uncover and turn the heat back to high, until liquid has evaporated a bit - the dish will still be quite saucy. Serve in wide pasta bowls.Add freshly cracked black pepper, shredded Parmesan cheese, and serve with a green salad!
