Here is how you make Granny Ezell's Peach Cobbler:

Place stick of butter in an 8x8 pan and place in oven while preheating to 350 degrees. When melted pull out and continue preheating. Meanwhile take sugar, and mix with melted butter. Alternate flour and milk to make cake batter consistency. Add in salt and baking powder. after stirred well and lumps are gone place peaches right on top and place in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
