How Do I Make Bethy's Apple Pie?

Here is how you make Bethy's Apple Pie:

Core and cut apples into pieces. Using a food processor, chop apples to desired consistency. (I made some very fine to act as a sauce and left others large for texture). Add sugar and spices to apples and combine thoroughly. Spoon into bottom crust and smooth out. Place small clumps of butter just under the surface with a knife. Place strips of crust across the top for lattice (or braided) effect.
