5 Fillo (Phyllo) sheets of dough
5 whole red delicious apples peeled, cored and chopped into chunks
1/4 C. rolled oats
1/3 C. white flour
1/2 C. Sucralose Sweetener
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. All Spice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg


How Do I Make Lite Apple Pie?

Here is how you make Lite Apple Pie:

Spray non fat cooking spray such as Pam into glass baking dish or pie pan. Layer a sheet of Phyllo dough into baking dish. Lightly spray with cooking spray and lay next sheet down. Continue layering/spraying till you have four sheets in pie pan or baking dish. In mixing bowl toss lemon juice with freshly chopped apples. Add all remaining dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Put in prepared baking dish. Spray lightly with cooking spray then cover with last sheet of phyllo dough. Again spray lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle with additional cinnamon. Cut small vent hole in top of pie or pierce top layer of phyllo dough with fork. Place a sheet of tinfoil over crust for first 30 min. to keep from burning. Place in preheated 400 degree F. oven and bake for one hour. Remove tinfoil after first 30 min. to allow browning time. Serves 6.
