1. Combine flour & spices in a large mixing bowl. Add apple slices until coated.2. Pour apple mixture into a deep dish pie plate or 1 1/2 or 2 quart round casserole.3. Let ready-made pie crust come to room temperature, then gently unroll and top casserole. Vent top crust with slits,fork designs, or other preferred methods. Seal firmly and pinch around edges, leaving a generous lip of crust around edges. Remove excess dough.4. Cover edges of pie with tin foil. Place on cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 375 F for 25 minutes. After that time, remove foil and bake for another 30-35 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and gorgeous.TIP: Serving is easiest and least messy if pie is allowed to cool for several hours before serving.
