2 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
1t Vanilla
1 Jar Nutella
.75 stick of butter
2T Sugar
2 c. cookie crumbs from chocolate wafer cookies


How Do I Make Gianduia Pie -- modified from the original?

Here is how you make Gianduia Pie -- modified from the original:

Crumble chocolate wafer cookies (I use the sugar ones with cream filling that are rectangular in shape) in a food processor. Melt butter and mix with all but 3T of the crumbs and sugar. Press into a pie plate and bake for 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool.While crust is baking/cooling whip the cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Place Nutella in a seperate bowl and stir in one-fourth of the whipped cream. Remove one-fourth of the plain whipped cream and set aside. Mix the Nutella-cream mixture in with the other half of the cream, GENTLY. Process macademia nuts in the food processor and fold in all but 3T into the Nutella-cream.Scrape the filling into the shell and smooth the top. Let refrigerate until set -- at least 6 hours.
