How Do I Make Classic Pie Crust?

Here is how you make Classic Pie Crust:

Whisk together flour and salt. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Mix in butter cubes. Add ~ 4 Tbsp water, tossing flour mixture back and forth until it begins to cling together. Gradually add enough of the remaining water to enable all flour mixture to be gathered into 3 balls. Wrap each ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hr. Roll out on silicone mat with a small amount of flour. Fold in quarters and place in pie plate; unfold and flute edge. Or add filling and top with second crust, then flute edge.
