How Do I Make Gooey Turtle Pie?

Here is how you make Gooey Turtle Pie:

On low heat, slowly melt 30 caramels in a medium saucepan. Slowly add in 1/2 cup whipping cream. Keep a close eye on it and be sure to stir often so it doesn't burn. After caramel has melted, remove from heat. In a medium microwave safe bowl, place 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup whipping cream. Heat in microwave to melt on high. Be sure to stop every 45 seconds to stir until consistency is smooth. Add 1 cup chopped pecans to caramel sauce and mix thoroughly. Slowly pour caramel sauce into pie crust. After caramel is in place, pour the chocolate over the caramel. You can marbelize it if you want, or just leave it as is. It doesn't have to be even.
