Here is how you make Cherry Pie with homemade crust:

Mix flour, salt, and Crisco shortening in a large bowl. Stir in water and mix until dough forms and leaves the sides of the bowl (you can add 1 Tbsp of water at a time if necessary to moisten dough). Divide dough into two equal balls. Roll out one ball on floured surface until large enough to fit the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan. Place in pie pan making sure to fit up the sides of pan too. Pour all the cherry pie filling into pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon. Roll out the other dough ball until large enough to cover the top of the pie all the way. Place dough over top of filling and crimp edges together. Use a fork or fingers to form the edge decoration. Pierce the top of the dough with a fork in a few places so steam can escape. Place pie on a cookie sheet and place in a preheated 425 degree oven. Bake for 15 minutes and turn oven down to 325 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is starting to bubble out of the pie. Cool on a wire rack.
