one 15 oz can crushed pineapple
one 3 oz apricot jello (or orange)

8 beaten egg whites
3/4 C sugar

Crust:Combine crushed crackers, sugar, walnuts and butter. Press 3/4 of mixture into 9 x 13 panFilling:Combine 3/4 C sugar, egg yolks, pineapple with juice and heat until thickened, stirring. Stir in dry jello and refrigerate to cool completely.Beat egg whites until fluffy, add sugar while beating. Fold into cooled jello mixture then spread over crust.Top with whipped topping and pour remaining crumb mixture over top, chill before serving.
