Here is how you make Golden Sponge Cake with Strawberry Sauce:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease and flour 9-inch square baking pan.2. In small bowl, combine flour and cornstarch.3. In large bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat eggs and sugar until thick and lemon colored and mixture forms ribbon when beaters are lifted, about 10 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Fold in flour mixture until well blended, then fold in the melted butter.4. Scrape batter into prepared pan; spread evenly. Bake until cake is golden and springs back when lightly pressed, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Run thin knife around cake to loosen from sides of pan; invert onto rack to cool completely. Top with Strawberry Sauce. Makes 8 servings.For the Strawberry Sauce:1. Place the strawberries in a food processor and process them into a chunky puree.2. Transfer the puree to a small saucepan over low heat and heat just until warm.
