How Do I Make Strawberry Syrup Topping?

Here is how you make Strawberry Syrup Topping:

Start to make strawberry glaze as follows:Combine 1 c. water, 1 c. sugar, 2 1/2 tbsp. corn starch in a saucepan. Turn burner to medium high and stir so that all ingredients combine and bring to a boil. As soon as it reaches a boil, turn burner down to med-low and cook until mixture becomes clear. Turn the burner off and add the 3 tbsp. strawberry jello dry mix. Mix until dissolved.Let the glaze cool for a bit. While mixture is cooling, slice your strawberries and add to glaze. Add your extra 1/2 c. water to make it more like a syrup consistency.Enjoy on waffles, pancakes, or french toast.
