Here is how you make Streusel Kuchen:

Mix 1 cup of all purpose flour, brown sugar, .25 tsp. salt, and 6 Tbsp. light butter to make streusel topping. Put in fridge. Cream remaining butter with powdered sugar and splenda. Beat in eggs one at a time. Then vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Spread batter into floured and buttered springform pan (9 or 10 inch). Slice apples and arrange in spiral pattern on batter.
