1 Tbsp. Canola oil
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg


How Do I Make Sweet Cherry Cobbler?

Here is how you make Sweet Cherry Cobbler:

1. Remove stems and pit cherries with a cherry pitter or take a sharp knife, cut each cherry in half and remove pit.2. In 2 quart saucepan, stir water and cornstarch until blended. Add pitted cherries, cinnamon, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/4 tsp. salt. Over medium heat, cook unitl cherries are soft and mixture thickens and boils, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently. Pour cherry mixture into a 8 x 8 inch pan.3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl with spoon, mix flour, baking powder, canola oil, egg, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/8 tsp salt just until blended. Spoon batter on top of cherry mixture and bake for 20 to 25 inutes or until topping is golden brown.4. Serve with whipping cream or cool whip.
