Set aside to cool. In a medium to large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, & yeast with a whisk. When milk mixture has cooled so it is only barely warm (too hot and you will kill the yeast), gradually whisk into flour mixture. Whisk eggs and vanilla together and gradually whisk into batter, till smooth. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 12-24 hours. To cook waffles, preheat and butter waffle iron and cook till golden brown and crisp.
