Mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Mix the eggs, vanilla and oil in another bowl. Combine the mixtures in the larger of the two bowl and mix well. Add the apple sauce. Let the dough rest for about 5 minutes.Roll the dough into balls and flatten onto a baking sheet. Add a spoonful of your favorite filling in the center of each round.
